HERE’S HOW:

  1. Get comfortable. Take some deep breaths and try to let go of tension.

  2. Scan your body systematically, focusing on one part at a time, from toes to head.

  3. Bring a sense of curiosity, noticing and relaxing around any intense sensations rather than encouraging them.

  4. Now bring your awareness to your whole body as you take a few more deep breaths.
