Do you wish you felt more like yourself again? Simple self-care on a Post-it can help you find your wild peace. Learn more below.
Self-Care Made Possible
Self-care doesn’t have to be big. Tiny, daily shifts in mindset and habits, which we call micro-actions, can make a real difference.
To start:
· Pick 3 self-care micro actions
· Put them on a Post-it
· Try them each day and see how you feel
Permission to Practice
How are you holding up?
Studies show that parents of kids with higher needs experience more stress, illness, depression and anxiety than other parents. Chronic stress creeps up.
If we’re falling apart, we can’t offer our kids the compassion and connection they need to thrive. We can’t stop the stress, but we can learn to respond to it in healthier ways.
Self-care isn’t selfish, it’s vital. Give yourself permission to practice.

Tips for success:
· Choose micro actions you want to try. What fills your cup?
· Attach them to your regular routine. For example: Rest your legs up the wall before you go to bed.
· “Yay me!” Pat yourself on the back for doing whatever you did. Studies show that rewards for new behaviors help wire them in.
